Migai Wong
Migai began her career as a professional pet stylist, a role that demanded long hours and physically challenging postures. Over time, poor working ergonomics and the physical demands of handling large dogs led to chronic back pain and several injuries. Seeking relief and recovery, she turned to Pilates—initially as a form of rehabilitation.
What began as a solution soon became a passion. After just a few classes, Migai experienced significant improvement in her back pain and developed a deep appreciation for the way Pilates restores strength, alignment, and body awareness. With a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Animal Biology, she already possessed extensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics. This background sparked a natural curiosity and connection to Pilates movement principles, inspiring her to pursue formal Pilates instructor training.
Known for her fun, upbeat personality, Migai creates an encouraging and enjoyable training environment. She often uses music to energise and motivate her students, making each session both effective and engaging. By combining her scientific knowledge with a positive, approachable teaching style, Migai helps clients move with confidence, better posture, and greater body awareness.
Outside the studio, Migai enjoys golf, badminton, music and spending time outdoors walking her beloved Moodle. A self-confessed foodie, she loves discovering good food and enjoying a well-earned meal after long hours of work.
